Who we are
Freighthouse Transport & Compliance is developed and operated by Freight House, a GIC Company (ABN 72 149 866 375), 20 Mulgul Road, Malaga WA 6090. We are the entity responsible for the personal information described here.
What we collect
- Account details — company, contact name, email, phone, state, and billing information (card details are held by Stripe, not by us).
- Driver and offsider details — name, email, mobile, role, and driver licence details and images you or they provide.
- Operational records — pre-starts, clock on/off times and locations, fit-for-work declarations, defects, maintenance, incidents, documents and photos you upload.
- Usage data — basic technical information needed to run and secure the Service.
- Website analytics — on our public pages (our website, the subscribe page) we use Plausible Analytics to count visits and see which pages are used. It is cookieless, sets nothing on your device, and does not identify you. We do not run analytics on the pages you use once signed in.
Why we collect it
To provide the Service: to create and run your account, record and produce your compliance evidence, take payment, send you service emails, and keep the Service secure. Location is captured at clock on and off to place a shift on the record; it is not continuous tracking.
How we share it
We do not sell your information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Service, under contract and only as needed:
- Supabase — database, authentication and file storage.
- Stripe — subscription billing and card processing.
- Resend — sending service emails.
- Anthropic — reading a licence image to pre-fill fields, when you use that feature.
- Vercel — application hosting.
We may also disclose information where required by law, or to a regulator or insurer at your direction when you choose to produce your records.
Your records stay yours
Each operator's data is isolated. Another operator cannot see your records, and nothing is shared with a business you haul for unless you produce it.
Storage and security
Data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure with access controls and encryption in transit. Some providers process data outside Australia; we use reputable providers with appropriate safeguards.
Retention
We keep your records while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards so you can meet record-keeping obligations, then delete or de-identify them. You can request an export or deletion at any time.

You may ask to access or correct your personal information, or make a privacy complaint, by emailing us. We will respond within a reasonable time.
